I was there in Liverpool last time Cat was there and will be returning after a long wait for the show in December last year. Can't wait! I remember the first time so well- after the show there was a huge scrum at the stage door, and my friend and I hung about on the edge of the crowd. How lucky were we that one of the doormen took pity on us, and told us where Cat was staying overnight (The Adelphi) and said if we hurried we might see him as he went in. We hurtled through the streets, not really knowing where we were going, never been to Liverpool before, but more by luck than judgement, arrived there just in time to see a car pull up and there, clad in dark green velvet, was our man! What to do? Dare we approach him? A few seconds thought and we stepped between him and the door and asked him if he would mind signing our programmes? He was so sweet, signed each one "Love and Peace, Cat". There is a sad, sad ending to this though. Many years later, while I was away, my husband had a big clear out of our book case and the idiot threw away my beloved programme. I got home to find it gone forever. He still hasn't been forgiven!

Lost the precious program and kept the husband? I don't know if that's how I would have handled it! LOL He'd probably still be walking with a limp! (kidding, kidding, kidding) What a big dummy! Sounds like something my big dummy would do! Wanna hear stupid I actually got rid of my Ricky Nelson stuff (things he had given me personally), when I got married and moved out of my parents' home. The only thing I kept was the autograph. Now who's the BIG DUMMY?? Moi!! Anybody else wanna get in line?
