Terms of Use:
All discussion is welcome here, provided that certain guidelines are followed.

Respect:
Respect for all viewpoints, Respect for all who post here, Respect for Yusuf Islam/Cat Stevens, and respect for Majicat itself.

Respect of Religion, Nationality, Gender and Race:
Animosity shown to others on the grounds of race/nationality/gender/religion will not be tolerated

Fighting:
Is frowned upon. It is OK to discuss things, but fighting (name-calling, flaming, etc.) will not be tolerated. As always, treat other members the way you want them to treat you

Off Topic:
Try to stay on topic. Hijacking of a thread for your own personal gain, is discouraged. Please, start a new thread in the category that best suits it.

Religion:
Due to the wide variety of people and religions, I have decided to be fair to everyone, discussions pertaining to religion should be kept within your own pm and/or email, so no one is offended. (within a few exceptions)
Edited: I placed the above TOU up during a turbulent time at Majicat and I didn't want any friction resulting because of such threads. Recently, I have become more lenient on religious talk as long as it is presented in a mature and friendly way. That is not to say Majicat is to become a religious forum or that ALL religious threads will be accepted. If they start to sway, they will be locked. (I kept the above tou version up, so people can see what it will result back to, if this tou is abused)

Politics:
The same rules for Religion applies toward political talk. (The rule is, if you can't be open minded and respect all, then perhaps you shouldn't discuss politics.)

Objectionable Material:
By registering, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise volatile of any laws. This is a G-rated message board, so keep it clean and friendly. We reserve the right to remove posts that are abusive, hateful, defame or insult anyone.

Spam:
Do not join this message board for the soul purpose of posting spam messages. I.E. posts that link to something you are selling not related to Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam. The spam message will be deleted and if you are here solely to spam this message board you will be deleted as well..

Slander:
When making slanderous posts, be prepare for them to be deleted. Defamation is unforgivable and unacceptable. You may be suspended from the site for such behavior.

No Postings of Personal PM’s:
If you choose to post a personal defamatory PM’s, the post will be deleted and you will be suspended from the site.

But most of all, just try and be yourself, use your common sense, treat others with understanding and respect and have fun.
