Singer & Songwriters...Time/Life Series

Hi All,

This morning was the first time I ever caught the commercial for the Time Life 'Singers..Songwriters cd series.  My son actually was watching and started shouting, "Cat Stevens!"  Wow...Cat was featured very prominently in that commercial.  Very nice!!  Nice little videoclips.

That seems like a nice cd set to own.  Really brings back alot of fond memories...I loved all the featured songs and artists.  Of course you know who my #1 guy was (is)... ;D  ;D

Does anyone have this set??

I don't own the CD set, but the little clip of Cat singing is quite nice. Not sure if you are aware of the origin of this particular performance which they show on this commercial. It is from his  April 1976 performance on a German TV program called Disco, which from my understanding was similar to the US version of American Bandstand.

My 19-year old daughter has a tape she calls her 'babe tape' which has clips of various people she thinks are HOT.  On it she has also recorded all the footage from the Time/Life commercial.  I have to concur that the footage is fab.
