Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask something. I have all the studio albums, and want to complement that with the "On The Road To Find Out Box Set", but i see that there has been a re-issue of the 2001 box set, released in 2006. I see that there are more songs on the 2001 set, so the choice should not be difficult, or can someone tell me otherwise? Also, does anyone know if there are more differences besides the reduced number of songs, i.e. the complete package. Do they both have the same booklet etc. I have searched the internet, but i can`t see the trees for the forest anymore. Also having heavy flu does not help either . Hope one/some of you can help me with my question. This must have been asked many times before, but i still hope you can help with this. Many thank yous in advance. All the best: Gromek

I hope you're feeling better. Thanks for asking this question. I also wonder - I thought that both the 2001 and 2006 issues had 79 songs, but now I wonder. I hope someone at Majicat knows the answers. ~Sun~

Hi Sun,
Thanks, i am feeling better.
I hope someone can help us with our question soon. I think i`ll go for the 2001 set, just to be on the safe side.
Unless someone tells us otherwise.
Let`s hope it won`t be too long.
All the best; Gromek

Perhaps you can refer us to the sources Gromek. I was not aware that it had been reissued, it might be a mistake in the track listing. Other than a slightly different track listing on Bill de Young's site (he wrote the sleeve notes), I think the original notes had a track or two that was not used on the set, so it's as listed on Amazon. Anyway, do link us to the different track listings.
Very best

Do they both have the same booklet etc. ...Gromek Hi Gromek, As Daddy-O has already mentioned, the newer reissue more likely than not has all the same tracks as the original 2001 release. As far as the packaging, however, I have seen the 2006 version in stores, and it doesn't actually come in a box like the 2001 version does. It is a hardcover book with (I'm assuming here, since the packages were, of course, unopened) the discs within. One other note: From what I've gathered, many of the 2001 boxes were easily damaged at the corners, so if you decide to purchase a used copy of the original version, keep an eye out for that. Best of luck, Joanne

I bought 3 different versions on the box set by mistake . They had different names but were the same sets ,there are some slight differnces , I kept them all as some for the car some for home and for my surgery and the amount I use them they could get worn out . same with the books I keep one to read and the other keep in pristine condition . for generations to enjoy after I'm gone Michele
