Yep....I agree. Although I like Elton John, I think he should stick to singing Elton John songs.

When George started the "Under the Covers" thread with the professional covers of Cat/Yusuf songs, I thought,"Cat's better" for every song that had been covered, and I started to think I must be too negative! But, as George said, it's natural for Cat/Yusuf fans to feel that his versions are the best (that's not an exact quote). Anyway, you all made me feel better, so thank you. BTW, I think that Elton John is a musical genius, and his cover of Lady D'Arbanville is superb - it's almost a carbon copy of Cat's interpretation - I even wonder if Cat played guitar or sang backup on it. (George would know . . .) Still - Cat's is better!!!!~Sun~
