Hi everyone I've come across a very interesting mini album of Cat Stevens Jamming with Ringo Starr during Cat's Izitso days. While there's some tuning and mucking around - a bit of fun too, there are a few songs here well worth enjoying - kind of a different side to Cat You'll also need a program that will open ACE files - I didn't know what they were until I downloaded the songs and found out that they were in a sort of zip file! So I searched around and found a free open source program called peazip - which made me smile at the name ;D But, even after downloading that, it still required a 2nd plug-in specifically for the ACE files. It's not as tricky as it sounds tho', especially now you have the heads up on it - assuming you download peazip to open the ACE file that is! If you google ACE extractor, you'll find others, so whatever you choose, it's well worth the effort to hear this little gem So, to the links! The first link will be for the album - named after his song 'Blue Monday'. The 2nd link will be for peazip and the same link has the 'unace' plug-in a bit further down the page. It actually is written as 'PeaZip UNACE pluging'. But I'm sure you'll figure it out soon enough! secretvault.blogspot.com/search?q=cat+stevenspeazip.sourceforge.net/Enjoy!

Hi Sun! Yes, it's the same Cat and Ringo Session of 1976 minus the unrelated 1969 portion from Paul McCartney. So, if you already have the Sink in the can bootleg, then this one wouldn't be needed. If you don't have either and you'd rather the sink in the can bootleg, I just found a link for that as well: octaner.blogspot.com/2008/05/sink-in-can.htmlThanks for your post, I searched majicat before posting, to see if it had been posted before and I checked here: www.majicat.com/recordings.htm but I couldn't find the link listed there as you posted - still can't!!! (except via your link) My apologies then if this is already well known
