It's like in real life, isn't it?  Funny vid - I love it!!  Might be like real life....I remember some moments!(back in the day)!!LOL!!(erm to my shame!!) BUT again my Morning has Broken!!First shirtless Cat and now hung-over girls in the morning of the night before!!! NNOOO!!! Its just NOT in keeping with the memory never mind the meaning of the Hymn......NOOOO....STOP!Leave my Morning Has Broken ALONE!!!!!!!!Please!!! |

thatHarvey Nichols had many lessons in it !! many innuendos! I kinda liked seeing it .. I see where they were going with it and then with the music ... hm.. like "remember what you learned in catholic school?"there was a moral class or lesson in there somewhere .. amidst it all ... ~~ lol  ?

How does music copyright work?Can anyone just take anyones song and use it as they wish?Or do they get permission from the artist? So Yusuf said it was OK to use Morning has Broken for this advertisement?..confused a bit.....anyone shed any light?thanks . It's the owner of the composition you need to get permission from - which is not necessarily the artist. In the case of "Morning Has Broken", it was arranged by CS, with lyrics by Eleanor Farjeon. So he wouldn't have final say on the song itself. I'd say, however, to use his recording they'd have to get permission. |

Ithink it sends a moral message thru the back door .. if one knows that song and can relate to that walk of shame or even might have done one that day ... they might get something...kind of a back handed slap to wake up .. like they might get a mmmm "dont you remember that song too"like!!!!

It's not legal but it's done all the time. No, it's not unheard of, but I'd be VERY surprised if permission wasn't sought to use a recording for such a wide audience. Yusuf has taken legal action against others for using his work without permission, I'd be stunned if they'd done this. |

Does anyone have a video of yusuf singing with the hat on of "Foreigner Suite" in Stockholm , in its entirety ... Gee I really want to see this whole performance .. it looks amazing and the beginning is so stripped down with the piano only .... xoxo thanks ..
