Bidding ended on "ol' greeny"  , and it ended in grand E-bay style! The next time I checked it (app. 1 hr. to go) the bidding was up to 1000 GBP ( about $1636). Then it went to 1270 GBP ($2077.72) and stayed there. The bidders had the knowledge that they had to bid at least 1290 GBP to stay in the game. Nobody did, and I knew it was ON!! I figured someone would hit 1300 GBP like in the last few seconds, but nooo  ....last 5 seconds the bid came up 1500 GBP, then 1550 GBP, in a flash (time up), which won it!!! I don't know how they countered and won so quick, but I was impressed!!  So the "green desk" went for $2544.95!! You have to remember the price started at less than $2 and went for 10 days. To me that's not bad money for something that's out of date, torn up, scribbled on and doesn't work, huh!?  But hey, I've paid good money for old, cool stuff that was "Cat" friendly and would probably really cough up a hairball to buy something neat that belonged to him personally!! ;D (and as you know, I think it was Yusuf that bought it  !! I wish it was and he would tell us about it in his next blog!  |

I've paid good money for old, cool stuff that was "Cat" friendly and would probably really cough up a hairball to buy something neat that belonged to him personally!! ;D Too funny, Richina!  It was loads of fun following the progress of the 'Ol Greeny bidding and thanks to all of your keen e-bay checking and timely updates, we were all able to do so Many thanks. But, please, no hairballs. By all means, purchase Cat/Yusuf-related stuff to your heart's content, but no hairballs! You're much too valuable to us, and we can't run the risk of losing you to hairballs, okay? ;D -Bud |

Oh yes, Richina you're too precious to lose. Your witt and humour is one thing I look forward to every day.  You manage to put a smile on my face, and I'm sure on everyones face, even on the most cloudy day. I hope you will have the pleasure and satisfaction to be able to say to us, "I told you so", or "Didn't I tell you",or "I knew it". ;D I know I will be delighted. |

Thanks so much for the kind words guys!! You must understand, however, that any encouragement I get can be dangerous!! And Bud, I promise I'll go easy on the "hairball thing". What is sad is that we may never know who bought the console....and then I'll not be able to say " neh neh neh, neh neh, neh!" ;D (hope that translated the way it was supposed to hee-hee) But regardless of whether or not I get to wag my cyber-finger in your cyber-faces, and dance the dance of "Tolluso", I think y'all are Grrrrreat and I have fun bantering with you.
