1967 was the year of Flower Power, mini skirts and music, which we all enjoyed listening, dancing and singing along to, and still do today. The Beatles made their final tour of the Candlestick Park, in the USA. On September 30th, Radio One opened up our eras, and we used to listen to the "sensational DJ Tony Blackburn. The first ever record he played on that day, was "Flowers in the Rain" by The Move. I was a big avid listener of Radio One, and every day, I'd be tuning into different DJs, including John Peel, Noel Edmunds, and Pick of the Pops, presented by Alan Freeman.
Then the 1970s came, and I was listening to programs on Sundays, featuring Noel Edmunds' Album show, and he used to play LP tracks by Cat Stevens, Steve Stills, The Who and many others. There was also also a charts program on at 4pm, called Solid Gold Sixty with Tom Brown.
Then in the 1980s came the era of New Wave, with acts such as Madness, The Specials, The Jam, U2 and Madonna. By that time, Radio One was playing all the great hits from the 60s, 70s, and the 80s. Since then, I discovered Gold Radio, which I listen to every day with the greatest hits of all time.

Here's the other death clue I'm now writing, it gives the information to Paul's car crash in 1966, which I hope everybody will find amusing to read.
During the fade-out on "I Am The Walrus, we hear John Lennon reciting lines from William Shakespeare's play King Lear, Act 4, Scene 6.
If ever Thou wilt thrive, bury my body, And give the letters Thou find'st about me to Edmund earl of Gloucester; seek him upon the British party, O, untimely death

Dies
EDGAR
I know thee well, a serviceable villian As duteous to the vices of Thy mistress As badness would desire
GLOUCESTER
What, is he dead?
EDGAR
Sit you down, father. Rest you

OK, then!! That was I Am the Walrus, packed with a death clue from Shakespeare's play King Lear Act 4, Scene 6. I don't usually read Shakespeare, but John Lennon's take-on was amusing, especially in the part where it said "And give the lines which Thou find'st about me to Edmund earl of Gloucester" I think that every clue to Paul's death had a message played backwards, with images, phrases and sounds like in Revolution 9's piece, featuring fire crackling and other noises. Another one from this page will be coming up.

It is very hard to believe that every day we get a little older, and next year we will be in 2011, so 1967 will be 44 next year, so the Beatles break-up back in the year 1969 marked the end of an era after the last album Let It Be, released in 1970, which also marked the return of the Cat after the long convalesence and recovering from what seemed to be an end for his success. His second comeback made us female fans go wild with excitement. Growing a beard, wearing jeans, and his long black hair was the symbolic image we all longed to meet, and the voice he had in those days was inspirational
