How was Yusuf's rapport with the audience? That was sooo special at RAH... I can remember someone shouting something and he was listening....then he said don't talk to me as this can divert me... But he was nervous. During the spoken words of the Moonshadow Musical he corrected himself several times. And at the beginning of 'Peace Train' he mixed up the lyrics...maybe he lost concentration. But he did this also with 'Father and son' when he once started with the second verse instead of the first...but he has got a kind of teleprompter infront of him anyway?! Anyway, it was great! His voice was fantastic. |

I can't wait for someone to tell me about Angelsea did he change words or keep same  ?? As for the audience they were clapping and were sooo off the melody and it was so loud ! I rememeber as Cat he didn't like that too much that is what might have thrown him a tad . His voice sounds beautiful and to see him at piano is truly a gift. Ii'm at airport waiting for Berlin flight. Safe Travels everyone xoxox |

marky49....The pics are so good Martina... dziekuje bardzo... loved them all...... Thanks, but actually my seat was in the 4th row but very to the right. So it was quite a distance to Yusuf and the light was difficult...I saw him mostly only in profile and had to wait that he turns into my direction. |

I have to say I also find the clapping irritating-it does not suit the songs. I remember watching Yusuf on 'Wetten,dass' and the audience clapped to Father and Son, cringe...  |

Yes, i love the mobile phone story too. Could have been me, never get any calls unless I forgot to switch the thing off in a meeting and then of course it goes off really loud. His wife will need to check him over before he goes out-didn't clean his glasses in RAH and now this, tse tse.... |

@sun ty xoxox just boarding now xoxox u know there was a time when ppl clapped and whistled during a Catconcwert he would stop and tell them it was a distraction and sometimes walk off stage lol all that off time clapping surely did it! @martina, Thankyou sooo very much for the great slide show that more or less took us through the whole concert evening. It's as though you were viewing the whole concert through your camera. Glad they did not restrict people from taking photos. Hope you will be able to take more photos at the following concerts. I know with each concert, Yusuf will unfold even more, and deliver many more surprises for you. Be ready to capture the unexpected, eyes, ears, heart and mind, and of course your camera lens. ;D I think maybe the reason he wore the hat while playing the piano was that he felt little shy, or a little uncomfortable after so many years. Maybe he wanted to hide the enthusiasm, the emotion in his eyes, on his face. I think everytime he sings 'Don't Be Shy', it gives him that boost, the confidence to be just a little more daring. I noticed after he sang 'Don't Be Shy', the song list shows he went straight into 'Angelsea'. Now I think that was very unexpected. Martina do you remember if he did the complete song? Anyway, just imagine what else he might come out with. Anyway something to dream about, not that this whole experience doesn't feel like a dream. Actually I prefer it is a dream, cause the reality of Yusuf touring Europe, and I'm soooo close, is unbearable. I think I'll live thanks to all you great majicatters who are so generous with sharing your thoughts, photos, and videos. All have a fabulous night at the concert in Hamburg. Martina I hope you get front on seats this time, for some great front on photos. After Stockholm, Yusuf will be just leaping and hoping, happily singing, to making our dreams come true. |
