Do any of you Kris, Mike, Glaucus, Vivian have any objections if I place your videos up on the main Majicat site? It'll give double the coverage?

Allthough I'm no musician, and regret never learning a musical instument, I want you all to know that you sound great and I enjoy listening to your covers.
Envy your talent. You don't only play well, you sing too. That must be a great feeling.
Keep the covers coming in...

Hi all First, thank-you Christine for encouraging me to include my songs here! I recorded a cover of 'Miles from Nowhere' a few hours ago and just finished uploading it. It's my first ever cover that I've uploaded to Youtube (I uploaded 'If you want to sing out, sing out' on my MySpace page back in January, but really wished I could have done better). My voice has gotten stronger recently, after suffering a number of years from ill health. It had been one of the most impacting changes of my life to have lost the ability to sing, but this last month has seen a change. My health is much the same, but my voice has gotten stonger and I'm so grateful to be able to enjoy singing again. I'm recording at every opportunity now Some of what I call my better work can be heard at myspace.com/jonathanjzero as mp3's. Here's the link to 'Miles from Nowhere': au.youtube.com/watch?v=98DWkki1dUIWishes to all for peace, happy times, days of wonder, good health & sweet freedom. From Jonathanjzero

Hi Vivian, I can see you have a very well equipped and organized music studio. Enjoyed the bouzouki clip. Was that bouzouki playing with a twist of C&W. It sounded great anyway.
The sweet old man in photo, did he make the bouzouki.
Do you sing or play musical instruments also? Very lucky to be surrounded by beautiful music in your home and live as well. Nice to see and happy for you both............. vicki

Nice to see and happy for you both............. vicki LOL, right now our studio consists of one small corner of the bedroom. Most of our equipment is stored under the bed or in the closet until he drags it out to set it up. Hopefully soon we'll have a house of our own with a room that will become a real studio. Right now we live with the inlaws. Oh, yes, that old man did indeed sell us the bouzouki, in Greece 10 years ago. There's a story behind that. That man is the first cousin to Dr. Jack Kevorkian, the famous suicide Dr. When I first saw him, I had to do a double take, because they can easily pass for identical twins. Nope, I don't sing or play instruments. All I do is listen, LOL Thanks Vicki. Peace,Vivian

Thanks Vivian, thats some story about the old man.
Hope all your dreams and wishes become reality very soon.
I too lived with my parents for a few years. It can be difficult at times but be patient.
Keep Well and all comes to those who wait.......Vicki

I just posted Lady D'arbanville and Father & Son. These are You tubes. I had a gig at a restaurant this Friday and played a string of CS songs. I was introduced as a CS cover artist and opened for Open Mynds. They are a good band that I am starting to play with now. I want to do it again soon it was fun. I need to do it more often to loosen up in front of people. I think my voice could have been better Friday but I was anxios. Next one I should nail it. Not many people were there because most people my age (37) still have no Idea who CS is. My job is to spread his music and by doing that spread some peace around hopefully.

You know I got carpal tunnel, arthritis in my thumb fingers on my right hand and loss of feeling in the left from playing guitar. Also damage to cervical spine. I think from gripping the fretboard with the left hand and from strumming with the fingerpick all those years.
Hunching my shoulders, even with a shoulder strap.
Anybody else have these problems?
Hearing loss....
Any players out there?

Hearing loss, for me, had less to do with playing & more to do with listening & going to shows. Then, I turned it up because I liked it loud. Now, I have to turn it up just to hear it at all. Ah, youth. joni...

My brother's a drummer. I used to think he was ignoring me when I talked to him. Then I figured out he couldn't hear me!
Well you know what they used to say if it's too loud you're too old! I think the opposite is true now.

I've never had any problems with any of that. I love playing. I'm not going to stop playing in fear of developing any syndromes. I believe if you don't use it you'll lose it. So I keep going. Has anyone checked out my new you tubes? This thread seems to have jumped the track again with my messages.

Hey Kris, good to see you're still at it. I haven't been around for a while as you know. I got T-boned at 65 MPH on April 26th. Destroyed my car, but God saw to it that it didn't kill me. Good to still be breathing air. I haven't checked out your new YouTube vids but I'll give 'em a listen and get back to you. I'm sure that the songs are great as usual.

The same thing happened to my girlfriend 2 years ago. Her arm was broken in 3 places. She still has rods in her arm. I keep hoping they will be removed soon. What were your injuries? I know all about recovery from things like this. It's not easy.
