I am quite certain he would shudder to be called "Yusie" I agree- somehow "Joe-sie" (yusie) just doesn't fit Yusuf to me, but we know its an endearing gesture ! x

Our weather is infamously unpredictable, but my advice would be to wear your winter woolies! Won't snow, but could well be very cold!

montypython - I think you and I may "very cold" differently:) Everything I have found on Google indicates I should expect temperatures in the upper 40s to mid-50s Fahrenheit around that time of year – maybe even some 60s. Here in Minnesota, I don’t even think to start wearing my “winter woolies” until it hits about 30 – just under 0 Celcius! Your Winter sounds like my Spring here in Minnesota - delightful!

No such thing as "too busy" in this economy, in my humble opinion...

Busy in the job, ill for a week. Just can't believe how quickly a thread is running out of topic and spoiled! You really need a chatroom to run riot :-o
I can't allow, that Jane has to carry excess luggage home. So I would love to provide the Majicatters from this side of the pond as far as possible. Don't have the time to look for your wishes in this crush, so please PM me what I can bring for you :-)
I won't import any illegal stuff like Koalas, Penguins, Kangaroos ;-) ;-)

I'm going 4 times to the musical
does anyone know what the weather is like in June I know it is winter but is a coat and boots required ?? someone told me it only goes to about 60 degrees F in temp ??

I am soooo sad and broken hearted.... don't you feel terribly sorry for little ol' me??? You know, if you took me with you, it would be very advantageous for you---- here's how: I could help with your luggage.... carry that HEAVY ticket... maybe lug all those souvenirs for you.... I could most certainly stand in the autograph line for you.... shoot, I'd even knock on Yusie's car window for you.... oooh, then I'd have to duck 'cause ol' Fawzia is pretty quick, you know! But hey, don't worry, I'll have plenty of bail money!! ;D
So see, I would work real cheap and make myself Yuseful (see what I did there?).....don't yus want me to come wis you??

Hey everybody! I found some weather data on Melbourne from June last year at www.bom.gov.au/climate/dwo/201106/html/IDCJDW3050.201106.shtml. The lowest it got was 3.4 degrees celsius, or 38 degrees F. The highest was 19.5 degrees C, or 67 degrees F. It sounds a lot like winter here in Southern California. I plan a lot of outdoor activities, so I hope the weather holds out. I just hope the koalas won't be in hibernation... Laters! Mike (AKA Qizlo)

Hey Christina!
I will be arriving in Melbourne on June 10, and flying back on June 17. I wish I could spend more time over there, as it will be my first time in Australia. I'm trying to make the most of the trip by scheduling some discovery tours. I'll be going to see the Moonshadow musical on the 15th. Can't wait...!!!

If indeed that is what happens, then maybe you will find it OK. Melbourne weather is notoriously unpredictable, and could easily fall lower than those temps, and then there is the 'chill factor'. You're right though, it most likely won't fall to zero! I can't stand the cold, I hate winter the most. Anything below 70degrees(Fahrenheit) is getting to cool for me.

Speaking as an Aussie, I won't be recommending 'koala cuddling' to anyone. Apart from the fact that there aren't that many places that allow it, they're smelly, and have sharp claws that can do a lot of damage. Stick to the cute photos of them, I say!

We do get snow in the mountains! But in and around the city, no, you are not likely to see any snow. I have lived here my whole life and never seen snow.

I know I have to get the art museums in my visit too!!! thanks Mike xo Hey Christina, let's see, I'm planning a trip up the great ocean road to the Twelve Apostles, a walkabout eco wildlife tour, an aboriginal heritage walk and maybe a river cruise. I'll PM the details to you. I hope to take in a concert and hit the museums as well. I was hoping there would be some sort of meet and greet for the Majicat members with the Moonshadow cast. Just another hint here.... Laters! Mike

There have only ever been nine, and there are only 8 remaining . Still, it's a nice part of our country.
