LOL Marier..... I think it was great that someone covered a Cat song in the London production. I didn't watch the cover song, but can just imagine..... eoooou, his voice sch-reeks. (IMHO) But he must have a following to be in the business as long as he has.  |

What happened to all the videos.?There is a copyright claim now. How do we get them back ? Anyone know if there will be a DVD. These type DVD's are a little worrysome because they won't have everything on them. They get edited too much. I hope if they have one Yusuf has all his songs on it and I can find them easily.

Darn....they removed the videos.  I got this message: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by a third party." I guess I'll just have to wait until the DVD comes out and pray all of Yusuf's songs on included. Lora |

Pssst...don't tell anybody...I just uploaded all the videos to my esnips account: www.esnips.com/web/YusuffolderI was able to play these directly in my Firefox browser, or you can download the files and play them with an FLV player, if you want to keep them around (not a bad thought, if I get busted by esnips!). You will also find Yusuf's interview with Danny Baker in the same folder (mp3 file), from a few months back. Enjoy! Bella |

Thank you so much Bella for posting the videos where everyone can download them! Many thanks also to Glaucus for putting them up on YouTube so fans who missed the concert could see Yusuf perform. I was nervous for a bit there, I taped the concert with my VCR ( yes they still exist! haha) and was contemplating how I could get them onto my computer to share but thankfully I don't have to go through that whole process.
ps - wasn't Yusuf's set and song choices amazing?!

There was a quality to it of "Cat Stevens meets Yusuf Islam," and it was PERFECT! Everytime he growled while he was singing "Saturn," I felt 10 years slip off me. He's still got it!--passion coexists with the peace and maturity that he has grown into. So inspiring...truly, what a joy that he is "back on Earth"and "back on stage". Bella |

Thanks to Portobella and Glaucus, I completely missed this concert as we had visitors. It was a wonderful performance by Yusuf, who looked very relaxed and happy. It was lovely to hear Ruins performed live |

Thank you glaucus and bella for posting these wonderful videos. I managed to record Yusuf on the Sundance Channel, but they only showed him performing "Wild World" and "Peace Train". It was just amazing to see him back on stage at a large concert. He was just great and it looked like he had never been away. I loved Yusuf's performance of Stevie Wonder's "Saturn". What a great song, and Yusuf sang it so beautifully. I was hoping he would sing "Ruins". What a perfect song for the occasion! Wow, Yusuf - Welcome back!!!

Bella, thanks ever so much for the mp3 files. I love listening to the concert, because you realize how little Yusuf's voice has changed since the Cat days. When watching, I'm just concentrating on that, but just listening, you hear everything in the music and Yusuf's gorgeous voice.
Just to let you know, when I clicked on "Wild World", WDTCP/Midday played. There are two "Children/Midday" files and no "Wild World".
