WHO is THAT 
you might be asking.
Well, Rob is one of two gentlemen who head an independent record company comprised of record labels in the U.K. ( VOICEPRINT:http://www.voiceprint.co.uk).
They are a leading force behind the release of NUMEROUS lost classic recordings/artists, as well as a truly STAGGERING
catalogue of outstanding LIVE recordings, and they champion release of music from third-world artists who would normally NOT find a ready market from mainstream record companies! ;D
THE reason they are of interest to fans of Yusuf is that they are THE distributors world-wide of ALL the Islamic recordings that Yusuf has done! They take the product (as submitted by Yusuf's company), then THEY master, press and distribute it, simple as that!
It was ROB who was personally approached by Yusuf, who had heard of Rob's experience in traditional Islamic music/recordings, and was interested in working with a British record producer who could help him bring his NEW music to a world-wide audience, presented the way YUSUF wanted it presented:Rob was THE man for this task! ;D
Coming this November, I have the WONDERFUL opportunity to sit and interview Rob Ayling at LENGTH, getting the WHOLE story of how he came to work directly with Yusuf, to bring his NEW musical vision to his fans!
The interview will be posted EXCLUSIVELY HERE on Majicat(and NO WHERE ELSE)! I am currently arranging this with Christine(no final decision YET as to whether it will be a WRITTEN editorial or possibly an AUDIOLINK).
At any rate, it should be VERY interesting and informative for all of Yusuf's fans to hear(Yours truly INCLUDED)!
