Tree, it is a Java rooms. Which means it it much faster than the poly chat room. It works with AOL, because other people using Aol have used it. So maybe it is the Mac that is giving you a problem.

Hello Cece,
Unfortuately it has been a sort of hit or miss type thing. I have been fortuately enough to meet up with a few people on it, mostly because it is previously arranged. Or if I see them on I send a quick PM to them to meet me in the chat.
You may try one of those options. Or we can plan a certain time for people to meet up.
What is a convenient time for everyone? Weekends? Weekdays? 9:00 - 10:00 - 11:00 PM? EST - PST - CST - GMT?
Perhaps people can write down when is convenient for them and we can try to work around to figure a good time to have a meeting of the Cat fans..

Since I got out of the hospital I haven't been staying up as late but maybe when I am more energetic and my kid is out of school I can make more chatroom visits. I am dying to talk with everyone.

I do have Java on my Mac, but it still says I need a plug in. When I go to get the plugin, it tells me there are no plugins found. I guess us Mac users can't join you

I guess us Mac users can't join you Hello Cartiastwo, I don't think it has anythign to do with your Mac, it is more of a AOL problem. For some reason AOL doesn't support JAVA like the rest of servers do. You would think they would, with as expensive as AOL is. It is that reason why I also kept the polychat in operation. This one does not use Java, but is much slower of a chatroom. Here is the URL to this chatroooom Caritastwo: mercury.beseen.com/chat/rooms/t/11401/Login.htmlI hope to see you there sometime.

I have AOL 5.0 for my Mac, I think its absolutely dreadful! you have to download the plugins, Apple offer plugins (Quicktime) and it eventually worked, but still the font is tiny on my built in browser, and It won't sort it self out! So I use Microsoft IE 5.0 ! Cheers, Justin

Justin, your new blue color looks very nice. It's much more inviting than the smoke grey color.

Hi everyone, I am here because I am fed up of cs.com, and I will never return back! Reasons why: 1. Nate is one obnoxious arrogant person 2. He is a prima donna 3. He is very nasty and unreasonable 4. I am fed up! 5. Accuses me of 'Advertising' my URL (Where else am I going to get people coming on? the only solution I had was message boards!) 6. And I am calm down now!! ;D Sorry everyone, I just needed that to get it out of my system! Has anyone seen the new Austin Powers movie? I am not sure if it came out earlier in America and Canada, because we have one odeon in Dunfermline (with 10 screens) and they actually miss some movies out! Best regards to everyone, and cheers! Justin

Justin, Please remember most people are very supportive! Don't let TROUBLEMAKERS like Nate, get to you! People like him, get their kicks out of bullying people! Your site is coming along just BEAUTIFULLY! I wish I could get up the nerve to start a Cat site of my own! I think when Hairy and I get settled into a house, where I know the computer won't move, I will seriously try and start my own! I already have a name in mind, I just need to come up with some new ideas! But I have plenty of time to think on it! Well, take care, and keep up the great work on your site! There can NEVER be too many Cat sites!
Peace,Vivian

Hey Justin, don't worry about Nate. He picks on everyone, you aren't sought out as his only victim. He criticises everyone. Don't let him get to you. And stick around the US site. Many, and I mean the major clique there, hate me to the gills but I just stick around. Regardless to the troublemakers the site has alot of nice people. Besides if you flee people like Nate win the war. It is more irritating to stick around. I am like an annoying fly over there. I keep buzzing around but they miss me each time they swat at me. So stick around. Besides alot of us here met at the US site and the majority of the people there are great. Oh yes, your site is coming along faster than my site did. I didn't figure out the button and link stuff for a long time. And Christine helped me alot with the site as well. And after having the site up for a year I still haven't succeeded in uploading media files to the site so you are one up on me. LOL Oh yes, I was also accused of promoting my site at the US site as well, but unless you tell someone how would anyone know you have a site. In my opinion you can't have too many sites to honor Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam. He is so deserving. Love, A'isha

A'isha is correct, Justin! I've made many enemies at CS.COM as well all because I stick up and defend Yusuf at all cost! He is SUCH AN INCREDIBLE SWEETHEART, and some folks don't like to hear that and just want to bash him! Well, Yusuf is a friend of mine as well, and they also don't like hearing that! Well, WHAT CAN I SAY! I've also made some WONDERFUL FRIENDS there as well, and they FAR OUT WEIGH the bad! Take care, Justin!
Peace,Vivian

Hi people,
That is true, but he tries to be better than everyone, he is just an ignorant rude prima donna. I can't stand them! I think Christine is wonderful, she helps you at every aspect of websites. Its nice to know that world has someone so kind and considerate. Anyway, I have added the font from Izitso album on the homepage at my-cat, you know the bit written with Cat Stevens, it was hard work, and its still in its original yellow but I think it looks quite good, I think Izitso was underrated, its actually quite a good album, but others say its not a particularly good album, although I don't like numbers alot, I just like Whistlestar and Banapple Gas. Whats your favourite Cat Stevens instrumental? mines has to be Kypros, but all of Izitso is quite dated with the synthesizers and drum machines, Back to Earth which was also underrated, I am afraid when I listen to Last Love Song, it actually begins to annoy me that he gave up his music career, He didn't really have to because there is plenty of other Muslims who sing with instruments, as I found out at MOL.co.uk I am in the process of writing a letter and sending it off, would anyone like ask a question, and I will add it to my letter? soon as I get one (if I do) I will scan it on my website and everyone can see!
Thanks again Justin ;D

Hi Justin, I love "The Artist" the best when it comes to Cat's instrumentals. Oh yes, I am a Muslim and I play guitar as well. It is just a personal thing for some. You are now linked up to my website and I did make a suggestion about your server because of those pop-up screens but I love your site and am trying to get people to go there. I know how hard it is to get people to post at a new site. A friend of mine started a site a few months back and got discouraged because of a lack of activity. I hope that you don't get discouraged. When I first came online this site was pretty quiet and now look at it. I am glad that Christine never gave up because this is a fantastic site and she runs this forum with integrity and class. Hey, my site is pretty dead lately too, Justin, people are coming in but aren't posting. It goes through slumps occasionally. This slump has been the worst though because in the past three months I have been in the hospital, worked alot at our restaurant and have bought a house so I haven't put much time into the site. I even thought about closing it then I saw your determination and enthusiasm so I decided to keep it open. See, you inspired an old lady like me...LOL Love, A'isha

Thanks A'isha, Theres nothing like a vote of confidence, Ages ago on here, I read the letter you sent in 1988 when your name was Catherine? It was nice of Yusuf to reply, I am in the process of typing up a letter, and I need an idea how to set it out, I need some questions aswell, so I am not sure, I am too embarrased to show my Mum the letter! Cheers, Justin

Hey Justin, You can pm a copy of the letter to me and I can type it up in a good format for you and edit it if you like. I used to edit for the business school I attended so it will not be difficult. But to be honest, I don't think Yusuf will be caring much about your skills. He is such a nice fellow that he will not notice flaws, he will just love what pours from your heart.
Love, A'isha
