Yesterday i was watching a movie i found on TV so it was like coincidence and then i found the younger boy (who was cute and the main reason i decided to watch it) was telling his older brother (in a sly way) who was travelling "You want Cat Stevens?" And was holding a tape in his hand!!! I went yaaaaaaaaayyyy!!!!! it's an old movie I guess it's called Into Thin Air anyone heard of it? I was soooo happy!! i was a good movie but the ending was bad  anyway i just liked to share that... ayah  |

Anya, I always get so excited when I hear Cat's name mentioned in public or on television. I am still waiting to hear one of his songs on the radio though.

I can't believe it.....I was reading this thread acouple of hours ago..and then I went to watch "Friends"...and they mentioned Cat!..LOL!!....I thought I was psyched about Cat....but they did mentioned him...something like:
Monica: Chandler....what is the James Taylor cd doing on the Cat Stevens case?
Chandler: I don't know.....
Monica:...ok.......Where is the Cat Stevens cd!!!!!!!!!
Chandler:...errrrr......in the James Taylor case...?
blah blah.....that was pretty much it.....
what are the odds of that?

That has happened to me!! I was talking to my Mum about Cat Stevens - And a couple minutes later a quiz came on TV, One of the rounds is when you have guess what the photos mean So, you get a set of photos and you got a guess what it means, the contestants were trying to guess what it was 1 - The presenter was called Matthew Kelly (1st picture was Matthew & his son) Matthew and Son!! 2. - The next one was a Mosque 3. - Was a Cat Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam!!! I remember Cat's name mentioned in an old movie
called Mother, Jugs, and Speed....starring Bill Cosby
and Racquel Welch. Larry Hagman was in the movie
and he was trying to get Racquel to see a Cat Stevens
concert with him.
