Hi A'isha!!  Welcome back.  Hope you are starting to feel better.

Funny, on Thursday morning to mid-day, (late afternoon time in UK) I couldn't stop thinking of Vivian.  I don't know, I felt so happy about something...so much so that people were commenting on my cheery mood  .  Hmmm...maybe I was getting long distance "vibes"...hahaha.  Then Friday, I actually felt a little depressed for some unknown reason...arrghhhh.  Who knows...probably just the usually ups and downs of life  

Does anyone know when she's due home?

Yes Mes Amis, I am home, and had a WONDERFUL TRIP! Now, if you read my messages on the other forums, you know, I was unable to see Yusuf, but I did deliver our bag of gifts to Yusuf's personal secretary who is SO NICE! Even though he was out of the country doing his WONDERFUL WORK, he is STILL the MOST THOUGHTFUL PERSON THERE IS! ;D ;D ;D ;D There by the front door waiting for me was an autographed copy of Bismillah and a copy of PRAIS OF THE LAST PTOPHIT! That man is SUCH A GEM!

Do you have idea what is the problem with her PC, Aisha?

I think she said that she went online on Tuesday and later tried to go on again and could not get online.  She called the support and they said that she need to get some CD to install some missing components.  Later she tried to reinstall her program for her ISP and she some of her icons vanished.  I told her that she may have to do a complete restore and reinstall her Windows but she doesn't have the Windows program CD to install it.  She said that her friend was supposed to come this week and help her.  

I solved my problems.  I cancelled Juno and got Netzero Platinum....same company but I got sick of problems with the Juno software.

Hey, if all else fails, change ISPs.  Next time I talk to Viv I will advise her to download the Netzero freebie and she can have a backup to get online.  I haven't been able to get online through Juno for a month.

Don't y'all hate it when you can't get online.  Withdrawal is a bi....Oops...I better shut up.

Well, I got hooked up to AOL, so I will be cancelling BELLSOUTH as my internet server! But, I would like to have NET ZERO as a backup!

It turned out to be my internet provider which caused my whole thing to CRASH! All my files were deleted, so litle by little I am trying to get them restored!

Hey A'isha, what's the deal with NetZero.  Is it completely free to get online with them or do you have to have a main ISP first?  How do you go about getting NetZero?

Well, never mind...hehehe...I found it online and there are no dial-up access numbers in South Dakota (as expected).  Living in So. Dak. is similar to living on a deserted island

Hey Susan, the Netzero Platinum seems to be working pretty well.  I don't know if the Platinum uses the same dial-up numbers as the freebie Netzero but you could ask about it.  

You really are remote if you can't get Netzero.  You should send them an e-mail and let them know that you would like to be able to get it in the boonies.
