Sloppy, I have never been able to catch the very first WKRP in Cincy, but I will keep an eye out for it.
As for Cat connections in shows. My mother was watching one of "her" shows the other week, "Murder She Wrote". I was talking to her, and only half watching it, when I caught a Cat Connection on it. Jessica Fletcher wasn't on it, but some British Guy was the star of this particular show. I have no idea where Angela Lansbury was or why she wasn't in it. But back to the Cat connection. After the case was solved, the mystery solver, I think his name was Stanton , was given a small token of appreciation. And low and behold he opens the backage to a CD of Teaser and the Firecat!!
After not paying attention to what was going on in the show, to seeing a Cat Stevens CD being presented as a token of appreciation, it really threw me for a loop and peeked my attention.

Y'all remember the movie "The Chiorboys", well there is a scene in the movie where there is a turntable with a record playing on it during a party. The music was something instrumental, not CAT, but the record spinning on the turntable was "Izitso". Hey, it was a major blooper that cracked me up.
I saw another movie with Sally Field in it where she is in love with this guy and the guy and she both think they are after each other for money. In the livingroom of Sally's home there are records stacked up against the wall. The first album is "Foreigner". Hey, we CAT-a-holics can spot anything of CAT a mile away.
Peace, A'isha

OK OK another Cat connection. I am racking my brains here to remember the name of this soapie. I think it was AS The World Turns. There was a teenage girl names Liza in it, this is clear back in the mid 70's when I use to watch it, although I think it is off the air now. Anyway they would play quite a few scenes from her bedroom. On one of her walls, there was a Cat Stevens poster. He was sitting on a rock near the ocean, and that is basically all I really remember of it. I remember searching my darnest for that poster as a teenager. But I never succeeded in locating it. I use to watch that soapie, just so I could see that poster.
