I guess I should have been a little more specific. With that 3 day pass, you can listen for free on your computer at Sirius.com

I registered for this today. I figured with 3 days I can catch tomorrow's show at 12:00n and the replay on Thursday at 6:00pm. I am listening to the classic rock station now. It will be on CH18. They are advertising it on the website. It was pretty easy. Now my question. Does anyone know of a way to record from the show directly while listening, onto a CD. The only thing I know how to do is maybe hold up a microphone and record onto a cassette and then transfer it back. That seems so archaic though.

It actually sounds crystal clear and as I live in the UK it's great news. There I was thinking that the elastic band in my PC needed renewing!

I get Sirius at my office on my pc, but not at home. Every Wednesday they do someone Live in Studio. And they last anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. I am so looking forward to this. I am going to try and set up this FREE trial at home too. Thanks again for the heads up on this!
edited to add: just got it set up & it works great!

Whew, I'm glad for this report (thanks) because I haven't tried to enlist for that yet. I tried to fix the Norwegian web page problem (another thread) and I can't get it to work. It requires a good Windows Media Player, and I refuse to have that on my computer (too proprietary). Not even for Yusuf.

I finally realized that there was a silly player that had opened up in a silly separate window. Now, I am very used to that with internet music. I guess I need another cup of coffee.

Yes, he sounds really happy and relaxed. Slowly, but surely it's going very very well. As he/He intends.
Vivian, did you get in??

Great acoustic rendition of "Midday". As soon as it started, I recognized Alun's guitar playing; I keep coming back to him (identifying with him maybe a little, being a guitar player myself), what a trip this must be for him. And Yusuf's playing is getting better and better, sounds like he's getting more and more at ease, even in the interview. Can't wait for the KCRW concert now!

This was just so fantastic. Funniest moment...when he sang "The Wind" and substituted "I let my feelings where my heart wants to go." I thought it had a special meaning, but he said afterwards that he just forgot that it was music. Apparently the musical "Moonshadow" is still in the works and will be done soon. There seems to be lots of stuff to look forward to. My very favorite part came at the beginning when he basically appologized to us for leaving so many "broken hearts" when he left so abruptly.
