Hi Justin, Vivian
I was torn between Janis Ian, Kate Bush and Laura Nyro, so I went with Laura.

My vote went for Linda ~~ although I kept thinking to myself that I just didn't feel that this song needed any accompanyment! drool By the way, Justin, I love your picture of Cat's signature! What a great idea! Sue flower

This is just for fun, to see which female voice you think would best compliment Cats voice during the singing of 'How Many Times'? Me! Me! Me! Wait a minute - my name isn't on that list! Seriously, I think Cat's voice would have meshed well with Linda Ronstadt's voice - just the phrasing, and the ability of each of them to communicate through music. And Linda's voice has such a smoky depth that would have complemented Cat's "growly" voice very nicely. Meeeoooow!

I have actually never heard Linda Rondstadt sing. I know Kate Bush through
Wuthering Heights etc.
Thanks O' Caritas - I like the font, As It's from my favourite Cat album.
Cheers, Justin

Me! Me! Me! Wait a minute - my name isn't on that list! Jan, my name isn't on the list either, but it doesn't mean that I don't dream about singing with him. I still do so after all of these years. Oh to harmonize with that man. Sigh! Love, A'isha

I'd go with Joni Mitchell. If her voice could make Leonard Cohen's voice sound almost presentable, I could just imagine what it would sound like next to such a perfect voice like Cats.

To Christine:
I was thinking about who'd I'd really like to hear singing with Cat. I thought I'd like to hear someone with a small sweet voice and the person I kept coming up with was Alison Krauss. I'm not really sure why but I'd come up with a couple of bucks to hear them together anyway.
I probley should answer you on some other site about your nice note of a few days ago but ... They still make Pall Malls. You are right about them being an older persons cigs tho. I used to help myself to my fathers when I was a younger man and got hooked. That'll teach me huh.
If I'm not mistaken you either started this site or helped to start it. WHY??? What was the motivating factor that got you started? I could probley figure out some of these questions by going back on the various sites to their first few postings but hopefully you won't mind answering me.
Hoping to talk to you, Larry
P.S. I'll try harder to keep my conversations within the boundries of that particular site in the future. I PROMISE

Hello Larry,
Your right, Alison has a wonderful voice and would compliment Cats voice wonderfully. Unfortunately, I could only place so many names up on the poll. Another woman who I think has a beautiful voice is Lorenna McKinnet and would compliment anything Cat sings. I'm not sure if many of you have heard her, she is a Canadian - Celtic singer, who is now starting to dwell a little into a arabic sound as well.
The Pall Malls did take take me off guard just a tiny bit. I hadn't seen or heard anyone who smoked them in years. My father smoked them and he passed away years ago. It was something I always contributed with him, Pall Malls and Old Spice. After 30 years, they are the two things that still strike a cord with me, when I either see them or hear their names.
And for your last question: Your correct, I am the site-creator of Majicat. I hope you enjoy looking through it. :-) As for my self, I have been a fan for over 30 years. I think I first became a fan around 1971 - 1972. I started this site almost 4 years ago, it was in the spring of 1999. I, at first wanted it to be a place to store my memorbilia, sort of like a back up for what I had in hard copy. Especially when I noticed none of the stuff I had, was on any other site at the time. So a friend (Jill) and I talked about how it would be nice to see it up. It mostly consisted of 45 Picture Sleeves, Sheet Music and some old articles I still had hanging around. From there, because of many wonderful Cat friends such as Jill Mallow, George Brown, Bruce Lawrie, Linda Crafar, DJ and many others, the site has expanded into what it is today.
You would never recognize it from the original look of the website, which had a moon & star feel to it. Anyway, I'm happy you made your way over to Majicat Larry. And I hope I answered your questions. And feel free to post where ever you wish.
Peace, Christine... PS Larry were you ever able to see Cat in concert in the 70's?

Larry, my Daddy smoked Pall Mall for years until the doctor told him he had to give up the cigs. He quit cold turkey in the early eighties and he has been a total ogre since then, always grumpy...LOL
When I came online Majicat was a tiny site and I am happy that it has grown into the nicest Cat site online. Christine deserves many pats on the back for this place and many thanks to her contributors. She has the most unique Cat memorabilia on the web. It is amazing because people send her some great stuff. I always wonder how they find the stuff. And it is the friendliest Cat site online. It is funny because I have a Cat website myself and find hers to be so great. I think I can appreciate it more since I went into web building because now I know how hard it is to build a site. It can be alot of hard work and it is time consuming.
Love, A'isha

Dear Christine,
I'm very happy you started this site. I've been over whelmed by not only the memories it's rekindled in me but by the kindness of the people who frequent this site. I find myself laughing one second and contemplating the meaning of life the next second, as I work my way through the various sites. Thanks again!
I had a chance to see Cat in about 1971 but waited just a day or so to long to buy the tickets. I said to myself that I'd catch him next time. If only I knew then what I know now, I'd of sold my shoe's to buy a ticket to his concert from a scalper.
Be Good, Larry
P.S. Your Dad sounds like my kind of guy.

Oh Larry, I am sorry you missed out at seeing such a terrific musician perform. Especially in 1971. That would have been such a fabulous concert to attend. His early concerts seemed to be such innocent and carefree concerts. Unlike the concert tours that came later. Just Cat , Alun and Larry Steele.
I remember talking with a friend of my older sister, who during the course of a conversation once told me, he had tickets to either Cleveland or Columbus in 71 or 72 to see Cat. He gave them away, because he decided to attend a college football game on the same night. I was amazed he would give up such tickets to see a KSU game.

Dear Christine & A'isha,
When my chance to see Cat came and went I knew that I had done a bad thing. I just sensed that I'd never get that chance again. As far as passing up going to concerts that you've got tickets to. I was going to pass up going to see Loggins & Messina in concert back in the day but changed my mind at the last second. A friend of mine stopped over to see what I was doing as I was on the phone to sell my tickets. I went and sat in the 3rd. row and enjoyed one of the best concerts of my life.
My best to you all, Larry

Larry, my choice was made by my mother. And if I had snuck out to see CAT she would have caught me and made a new doorway with my head. Believe me, the few times I tried to pull one over on her I got busted in front of my friends...not a pretty site. Love, A'isha
