OKAY, I KNOW we have discussed this before on other message boards, and we all came up with some pretty interesting ideas as to who Randy actually was! Does anyone else have any new ideas? (Ahem..) My theory is that anyone who doen't know this sketch should be swallowed by a Python, which would then be thin at one end, much much thicker in the middle, and then thin again at the other end...

OK, A'isha. My farfetched theory is that Randy is about himself in the same way MBJ was. Sort of a Part 2. In terms of a move towards a new religious lifestyle. Enough said. My other interpretation is that of a possibly very young girl who put him over the edge toward his move away from the hedonistic, immoral lifestyle. I think there were probably elements of both in the song. But I think it's basically about himself... as so many of his songs seem to be. Lord knows. I too would love to ask him. Why would they want to "take him away"? That's the part that really gets me.  Awww.... |
