I love those photos! I had never seen any of them. Cat looks as if he was just growing out his beard and mustache. I just wish they didn't have that big ol watermark!

Thanks Ayesha, nice pictures.
Did anyone else notice in the close up pictures how much young Cat looks like a young version of David Gordon pictures taken at the L.A. Lecture?

I had to laugh at the room. Not even floor pillows allowed to cushion a body. Looking at them lead to a spirited discussion of how one tryes to control ones enviroment to better let ones creativity express itself. Personally I make a nest of possibilities. My sister cleans house till it is a clean slate. Marty (thank God) works best in a busy enviroment.
I wonder if Yusuf still puts himself in a blank room with piles of stuff?

is THAT what it's called?! LOL!!!! I thought he was just being a typical 24 year old guy ;D I thought that too. And remembered how minimalist interiors were rather hip about then. Mine sure were, but that had something to do with lack of funds also. LOL. When I pointed out the room to Marty he remarked that people producing creativily try to control their enviroment. It was an interesting midnight conversation. Turan

I completely agree, Viv! His expression is so sweet and offguard! You really DON'T see many photos in which that is captured by the photographer-Cat normally looks more serious and composed. I think what I find especially endearing about these pix taken in his Fulham home is that the lighting and setting is NATURAL-NOT adjusted to "flatter" him. His nose looks BIGGER than what one normally sees in pix of Cat! His eyes have adorable tiny creases around them when he smiles...TOO CUTE! I am SERIOUSLY tempted to contact the photographer and order those pix taken in his home! Shirley

Now those are some gorgeous pictures. My fave is the middle one, as he is looking right into the camera. My, My, those eyes. Sigh.
