Look at what Ben Taylor sang in concert? ~~~Then Taylor was left alone for a song to perform solo. He played a tender cover of the Cat Stevens classic, "How Can I Tell You," introducing it as "my favorite love song ever, written by someone else." ~~~ www.naplesnews.com/npdn/neapolitan/article/0,2071,NPDN_14939_2890974,00.html It's amazing how much he looks like his father!

How nice of Ben to introduce "How Can I Tell You" with these warm and sensitive words! I'd have loved to hear him sing it! Thanks, Christine, for the interesting article! Love, Sanna

Awwww... What a lovely choice for him to make... It's such an incredibly tender, poignant love song, I'm surprised that it hasn't been covered more often.
And yes, Ben certainly does favor his father, doesn't he?? Quite a good-looking young man - just like his father was.
Now there's a pair who could do "Father and Son"...

It's amazing how much he looks like his father! It's amazing how much he sounds like his father too, but with James Taylor and Carly Simon as parents the talent's going to be in the genes... and both parents are present on backing vocals for his album. For any fans of James Taylor, this is a fantastic updating of that smooth vocal sound coupled with some great contemporary songs, and I'd recommend checking out his site www.bentaylorband.com/ where you can hear all the tracks off his CD, just click on the 'BTB radio' on his homepage. He does a great cover of The Zombies 'Time of the season', one of my favourite songs, let's hope he includes his version of 'How can I tell you' on his next album due in the Fall. DJ
