just finishing watchin the majikat dvd on a sat evening,took the bus to work on monday looking out the window passed the retaurant hwere he grew up in,that was a pleasant suprise it really made my day.

I was in London in 1971, and 1974, and probably went right past the restaurant. But at that time, although I was a fan, I didn't know that much about him.
It must have been fun to see it when you'd just watched the DVD. What's the name of it now?

The first time I was in London in 1998, I walked right past Alfreds, and didn't make the connection until I got home. When I went back in 2002, I purposely looked Alfreds up, although now, it is no longer Alfreds!
