While chatting on aim tonight and listening to Magic 107.5 out of Cleveland, guess who came on??They not only played a Cat Stevens song, 'Peace Train' they also played a small segment from the Yusuf Islam interview on the Majikat DVD. The part where he talks about his music was really meant to be played live.
Magic has always been pretty good about playing Cat music. But listing to this tonight really took me by suprize. ;D What a nice way to end the day. . ;D

I am amazed they played part of the dvd interview on the radio, Christine. It's good to know, though, that they were interested enough to do that! Now if we could get other stations to air more Cat Stevens music and Yusuf Islam interviews......

As it turns out, MAJIC has a program called Music Magazine. where they feature a specific artist from 10:00 - 12:00 midnight each week day evening.. I only caught the tale end of it, since I didn't turn the radio on until 11:45. The cool thing is that last night they were featuring Cat Stevens in honor of his birthday.

Oh wow, Christine, I'm sorry I missed that!
But I'm glad to know that Cat was featured. That means that someone there had enough regard for him and for his music to make him the featured artist - and to do it on his birthday is even nicer.
