Hello Cat friends,
I wish I could say that I was up to date on the works of Cat Stevens but I am not. I do proudly own two of his CD's, Greatest Hits & Footsteps in the Dark. I am currently in the process of writing a book about Live Aid and ran across reference that he wrote a song to be sung accapela during the show.
I see that the lyrics are posted on this site. Was this song ever recorded?, If it was, which album would I find it on. If there is a way to get in touch with the person who contributed the information and lyrics it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to get permission to include this story in my book. I have contacted many of the foreign acts and been overwhelmed with fantastic stories about their involvement in the show. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Ken Boland
