I voted for the fringed suede boots (of course). Those were SO cool - still are!  But, Shirley, how could you forget those infamous kelly green tennis shoes??  Lol! |

And what about those skin tight black knee high English style boots that he always wore with those stretch pants and tunics? lol  He really did have a variety of shoes and boots in his day. But those fringe moc boots win hands down! |

Cat was such the pimp he could simply wear anything. Also it's not just wearing the kelly green tennis shoes but pulling it off brilliantly. I mean stretch pants? and tunics? fringe moc boots? but he looked so smooth in all of them.

Besides forgetting the classic black English style boots (that I must have :Pdrooled over countless times I saw Cat in them)and the infamous Kelly green tennis, somehow I also forgot to list those outrageous gold loafers(the ones he wore for the "Banapple Gas" video( ::)Shirley slaps herself up the side of the head)! ???What can I say? 8-)Cat simply had TOO MANY cool shoes to remember them ALL! I really think that He has always LOVED white loafers(I'm NOT kidding)! If you go back and look at old pix of him from the '60's(especially in concert)you'll notice that he wore white loafers ALOT! When I've seen him in lectures pix(taken these last few years)I again notice those white loafers are in ALOT of those pix too! The pair he wore for the UCLA lecture in 2000 were ESPECIALLY...erm..PROMINENT! SO MUCH so that fans were loudly commenting on them, tee hee! I don't care for the sandals or white loafers, though!  Normally I really DON'T care for sandals or white loafers either. ON CAT they somehow looked good, though. The sandals looked good cause his FEET were just so..well, SEXY:long, well-shaped and elegant. I simply can't think of anyone else(well..no MEN)I've seen who had feet that were so NICE! The loafers looked striking in an odd sort of way. Again, it was something that only Cat could seem to pull off! Shirley |
