How will we convert dollars to pounds. Here's a handy tool for anyone who might want to check the exchange rate in order to have a better idea of just how much they're bidding: www.xe.com/ucc/But do keep in mind the rate fluctuates, so the exchange may be different at the close of the auction. :-) -Joanne

Thanks Joanne, I was going to suggest checking into an online converter, even though they may not be exact, they'll be close.
The starting bid started out at $18.80, and the current bid is now at $28.20 American, $34.26 Canadian, ect.
Vivian, most banks can make the exchange for you. Ask your bank or a Foreign Exchange to write out a check or Money Order in GBP's.
Good luck to everyone bidding! :-) Christine

I'd have to wait a month or two before I make another large payment. But I do wish whoever wins this wonderful item the best. Oh, by the way, when you drop off the SK money, do say hellow to Yusuf from all his "MES AMIS". Let him know that he has our full support. Peace,Vivian

My apologies about the site going down Michael. Unfortunately, when ever my host site decides to do some major over all on the host (meaning the sites are down during this time) they do not tell us, and it always seems to be at the most inconvenient time, such as during your auction. Unfortunately they never forewarn us (web owners) a head of time, so we can plan for it. Anyway, it should be working better now.
Good luck with the auction, keep the bids coming, it is going towards a very worthy cause!
Christine
