Hi all,
I guess I'm not alone in wanting to congratulate Yusuf on his fantastic new song! It is wonderful to hear his voice accompanied by instruments once again. I eagerly await a new album!
I did have trouble with downloading the song, however. I wonder whether there are any others out there who, like me, noticed the lack of a secure site when you were asked to key in your credit card details? I was not able to download the song at all until now when I found one site which said it was secure. However that site wasn't in the usual internet page format, no https appeared in a url and no padlock indicated a secure site so I still wasn't really happy about entering my details. I think this is a real problem and many more copies of the song would be downloaded if this issue could be resolved. What do you think???
Best to all, Chris

'Indian Ocean' is such a great song. When I first read the words, they really took me by surprise. "Honey" and "baby" in a new song and only Cat could rhyme lotion with ocean! And a very touching too story too. It really is a return to where he left off in 1978, or 1968 even, but right up to date at the same time. That is a great melody and story. I'm so looking forward to more of this from Yusuf. Not discounting any of Yusuf's more religious material which is impressive. The download thing... I get nervous using my credit card on line at the best of times, so the s in the url and padlock is great reassurance. Eagerly awaiting the old fashioned CD version, or better still, a 7" vinyl platter of 'Indian Ocean' which would be a thing of beauty!
