Whatever is on there, I don't think its Cat singing Cats in the Cradle, I'm sure someone can explain to us what this is though. What interested me is thats its described as Rock and Gothic & Darkwave ??

Without even looking at it, I can tell you I have the LP, and it has nothing to do with Harry Chapin's "Cats in the Cradle". Perhaps this is where much of the confusion comes from. "Cat's Cradle" is simply a compilation of earlier work-in the pre Mona Bone Jakon days.

I have this lp, it's just a compilation of Cats early matterial. It's on the 'London' label, rather than Deram, Island or A&M. The quality of the vinyl is not as good as Cats original produced records. Actually there are quite a few of these off-label records. I have one called "sitting" which is produced in Milan and is a very bad copy of Catch Bull at Four.

If I had a nickel for all the times I heard people say that Yusuf wrote and sang that Chapin song I would be rich!
