Hi to everybody.
I'm Julian from Spain. I'm a great fan of Linda Ronstadt and other fan ronstadtfanaz tell me how rare this concert was and how much you would love to see it.
I had the two songs with Linda in them but not the complete concert. Then I've asked to my contacts, they researched again and buyed the concert. It's not complete!!!!
But there's these songs: Father & Son, Wild World, Morning has broken, 18th avenue and the animated movie Moonshadow.
Nothing of Dr John and unfortunatly not Foreigner Suite, Boy with the moon and star in his hand and Pop Star.
I'm filtering a bit the noise of the audio and improving a bit the video but it's of very good quality.
I'll share with you via youtube, simply give me a bit of time.

Same goes for me too Julian. The way Linda handled those Cat Stevens songs was absolutely stunning. This is also the largest segment that has come to light of the concert so far, visually.

Muchas gracias, Julián. Hace años que estamos en busca de la filmación de este especial de abc in concert. La única canción que anda girando por ahí es Morning has Broken. Pero la filmación del resto del concierto es (era) hasta el momento inconseguible.

ok, just watched it.
great stuff.
video quality - great.
audio - bit out of synch.
weird ending on "just upon a smile" instead on "like a child girl", quite interesting.

Wow! What a great performance by Cat Stevens. When Moon & Star was originally broadcast I recall Linda Ronstadt's performance being close to the beginning of the show and I was so blown away and in another world that I wasn't able to appreciate the rest of the show like I can now. How magnificient this clip is. I can't wait for more.

I use Firefox (Bon Echo 2.0) browser with an extension called VideoDownloader. That´s all i need to download videos from You Tube or Google Video.

Thanks. I got it. Still, I hope for a DVD release of all these gems. If my computer ever crashes, I'll lose them all, and I have no way of burning my own DVDs or CDS.
