I 've registered but i havent managed to "chat" to anybody, never anybody there when i go on - maybe i'm just on at wrong time of day

I hope you are able to catch someone on it sometime. It's really a few people on it. But sometimes it's easiest to schedule a time to meet people. Or play a waiting game. Hpefully it will get used more often in the fall/winter seasons.
