hello, will there be such a movie, what do you think, has anybody ever talked /suggested or mentioned such a thing? who do you want to play Cat's role! I want Yusuf himself, i'm sure he can do it  , and i want the movie to talk about his life in details to understand his songs and him more bla bla bla, so no matter if there will be parts |

RONAN KEATING?  1) he's blond. 2) he's Irish. 3) he's blue-eyed. 4) no resemblance at all to the man. 5) he's a tenor. Oh no, we need someone who can perform an almost RP English pronunciation with a bit of Cockney in it, dark hair, dark eyes, and a deep baritonal voice. I'd suggest two actors, both half-Irish funny enough, but also both bred in London and much more resembling Cat: Daniel Day Lewis and Joseph Fiennes, the latter being my fav here. What do you think about it? |

There was talk of Ronan Keating playing Cat some time ago! Ronan Keating is Irish he can`t play the part, I dislike people who are`t English to play English part .... His Son can play the part.... And not Ronan sure he a good singer but thats about all.. Jan |

Yeah, Joseph Fiennes is my definitive choice, he'd do so good but he'll just have to wear some dark lens in his eyes, then it would be perfect. And I heard him speak, he's awright, true BBC!!!

He gay and looks nothing like our cat, plus he to tall he 6ft where as cat is 5ft 8....

No matter who plays Cat, there's no way the match will be absolutely perfect, well unless there's a Cat clone out there.

Day-Lewis is one of the most gifted actors in the world.But the Colour does play a factor in it. And Ronan Keating no way he's more suited to playing Cliff Richards on film. I always thought Naveen Andrews would be a good choice to play Cat Stevens on film.He plays Sayid on lost... |

and last but not least: Thanks for sharing these pics Jennyany. I just got an Apple laptop and am clueless about how to pull up photobucket, post pictures or do much of anything ,really. Anyway,These are great pics. He is totally cute. Didn't realize he has blue eyes, but that makes him even cuter. This is probably commiting heresy, but I think he is built a bit better then Cat (still slim,but slightly more muscular and a little more tush). Don't tell Viv. Yup,I think I'll hire him. Wonder how much he charges for a private audition? Vaun |
