Not sure if this has been posted on this site yet but I just wanted you all to know it is available and is a wonderful video performance by Linda Ronstadt as Cat Steven's special guest on the Moon & Star Concert from November 9, 1973. The song she performs is The First Cut Is The Deepest.

I am still looking for her performance of Fill My Eyes which she sang previously to The First Cut Is The Deepest. What a great concert that was!!! Hope you enjoy it.

I will be interested to know what you think of Linda's soulful version of this song.

OH WOW!!! You just made my day Ronstadtfanaz! How did I over look this thread yesterday?

What a fabulous video!!! Fantastic!! I remember finally finding a copy of the audio of this song and being ecstatic then, but this even beat that feeling. Linda's cover is definitely the BEST cover ever of The First Cut.
