well its look like Majicat is the head of the forums now u be seeing alot more of members coming here now.... Pus more disbates to discuss..... Jan Jan, this has nothing whatsoever to do with this topic, however I am wondering where you got this banner. It's very striking. Did you make it? If so, could you make me one that's a little different? I'd like to use it at the bottom of my emails. I'm wondering if I could have a mosque instead of the house and if the banner could be green instead of red. I'd like the text to be different, however I'd need to think some more about that. thx, kareema

I was playing around with the wayback machine, typed in CatStevens.Com,pulled up the website facepage and decided to try to login. I was surprised to see that a pair of hands (Yusuf's?) with fingers posed as if playing the piano appeared to the left of the login site, and even more surprised to see that I could actually enter my user name and ID#. Although, the final result of all this playing around was a message that told me to try later to log onto the new website,I believe I am catching the first glimpse of the "change". Check it out...Vaun

Type in wayback machine on google and it will take you to a site that allows you to pull up archived websites that no longer exist. Type in Cat Stevens.Com. You will be able to see the website as it appeared, when you pull it up, but not probe into ,at least yet because they haven't preserved the old posts,at least yet. When you see the log in spot try to log in and see what happens. Vaun

Me too! I wish they would get on with it. It the meantime, I'm getting to like it here better and better, especially with the nasty, argumentive, mean spirited and religious freaks that used to inhabit Cat.com on a regular basis ,all making their way over to Dashing.com, this website is like a breath of fresh air. If they once again decide to return to the new Cat.com,I will probably avoid it or at the very least avoid them. There is nothing I enjoy more then bashing GW Bush, but thats as far as it goes..Leave all the other stuff out of it...Vaun

Unfortunately for us and the rest of the world,we are stuck with Bush for 2 more years. I can't help but feel that Tony Blair is a victim of his loyalty to Bush and his war on Iraq. As Britain has always been our staunchest ally , Tony Blair didn't really have a whole lot of choice but to back up a terrible choice made by a war mongering ally. At least you don't have to cringe when Blair speaks. Bush sounds like a retarded 4 year old.,always wanting to play cowboys and indians.

Sorry Christine, I know I shouldn't talk about politics that much but...I LOVE YOU ALL, MY GOSH!!!! This is music to my ears and I knew that would be... Don't know who to trust anymore, I'd really be in trouble if I had to vote in the U.S. or the U.K. (not that Italy's better, AT ALL!), but I'd surely pick some Democrat, say Al Gore (I prefer him to Mrs. Clinton), and I kind of liked Charlie Kennedy until he left the Lib-Dems due to heavy drinking (he's a Scot after all... ). Yeah, I'm a liberal, to boot. Viv, I knew you were there, one of the great stand ups to Bushism in Florida!!! Keep on!!!

"Dashing is not for me either. Majicat is far more like home. "
There isn't even anything going on at Dashing. And fortunately, I got to miss all the negative history. But I thought it was a good site. It does seem that the former owner is prohibited from doing anything too Cat/Yusuf related.
