I seem to remember that when Yusuf "almost" performed at the first live aid concert back in the mid 80s, he was slated to sing a song called "The End". A while back, someone posted the lyrics somewhere, and then I saw some of the lyrics posted for Yusuf's new song of the same title from the new CD, and they seem to match or be very close. Are they one and the same, except for the added guitar?

Vivian, I remember seeing those lyrics posted quite some time ago somewhere. I've now seen some of the lyrics to "The End" on "An Other Cup" and they are the same, so I guess it's the same song put to music. He was bound and determined to get that song heard, it seems! lol.
Edited to add: Yes, it is the song he was going to perform at the 80's Live Aid Concert.
