I like the calm ending with his typical nice chord progression... well, that's all I can say about the song.

Has anyone else noticed that when it shows his face up close, he looks very much like Cat from the Matthew and son period (with a beard). I think it's because he hasn't got his long curly hair any more.

Yes, he does resemble his much younger self in the closeups, without the beautiful long ,dark curls. must be all those years of living the clean Muslim lifesyle. Anyway, back to the video, now that I have seen the complete video,I like it. The melody is soft and pretty, the music flows and Yusuf sounds and looks great. Guess I will have to get over my distaste for the Muslim thing, buy the new release and remind myself of why I am a CS/YI fan to begin with. Not just because of his talent, but because of the incredible goodness of his heart as shown by the constant effort he puts into making this world a better place. Thankyou for sharing this video and giving me a little wake up call, Vaun

That little boy is adorable. Would that, by any chance, be Mohammud as a young boy, and the young lady, Fawzia?
Peace,Vivian

Now you have me wondering if the woman and the little boy in the video are Yusuf's wife and son when he was little. My hunch tells me no,but wouldn't it be a nice touch if it was? Vaun Anyway,Great video, the more I take it in,the more I like it! Vaun

OK, not sonic imagery, but some interpretation nonetheless: The little boy being rescued from the sea by his mother symbolizes Steve being rescued by God. He sure has a thing for Mothers!

I agree with this interpretation. The shot through the boy's fingers just before he sees his mother indicates that he is beseeching God for help. He is making du'aa. kareema

What is du'aa and what does it mean? Thanks Courtney PS I did look it up on google but it was confusing and so many articles! I was thinking on my way to work this morning that I didn't explain what du'aa is. Du'aa is supplication. In it the Muslim is talking to God asking for forgiveness, guidance, etc or praising Him for His Mercy, Kindness, etc. We hold our hands like so. A sample du'aa: O Allah! make me among those who, when they commit an act of virtue, rejoice; and when they commit a mistake, seek forgiveness.kareema

Didn't Cat/Yusuf almost drown in the ocean prior to becoming a muslim? Is this song indirectly linked to that Great song! And I'm glad to be back on these forums after a long time away! Long time no see! ;D
