It appears that Yusuf is working on a musical entitled "Moonshadow." There is a link on wikipedia, but nothing there yet.

There has been articles in the past mentioning the musical. This talk actually started befor the no fly thing came into effect. Soo, it sound like Yusuf is still interested and looking into creating the musical. The cd mentions both 'Heaven/Where True Love Goes' and 'Maybe There's a World' are from the musical 'Moonshadow'

A few years back I think maybe in 2002 I have an article from the New York Daily News talking about Yusuf and the Life and music of Cat Stevens possibly coming to the Broadway stage. So far there's been nothing yet but I'm still hoping maybe someday this dream wiill become a reality!

Yusuf was interviewed on BBC radio 2 on 'Good Morning Sunday' (yesterday) and discussed the Moonshadow show (see link that follows to hear it again: www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/goodmorningsun/). He seems keen to do something even 'if it is in the form of a concert'. He was also featured on BBC1 TV 'Heaven and Earth Show' where he was interviewed. He seemed to be everywhere this weekend ! k@

I was going to mail you last weeks article from the Daily News as well but unfortunately the copy I was going to send you was stolen (not by a Cat Fan they just wanted the newspaper I guess!) I was fortunate enough to get one from a neighbor the day before. Take Good Care, Kitty (Cheryl)

I loved when he explained Greenfields, Gold Sands was his own special little treasure that he kept to himself for so long. I'm happy he finally graced us with it's presence. Oh and on my own personal note, what a way to end his interview with the next song being Eva Cassidy. Two of my favorite singers side by side.
