Peter Janes Letter

How nice is this?
I received this letter below from Peter Janes. You may remember him as one of the 60's artist that Cat produced in the late 1960's. There is a photo of his old 45 picture sleeve "Emperor and Armies" on the site. He's remained friends with Yusuf over the years.

Here are Peters comments on Yusuf, An Other Cup and George Browns book.

Thankyou for your wonderful website, seeing some of those old press cuttings reminds me of the days when yusuf was cat and i was peter janes. they were "HEADY" times.
i just received the new album and phoned yusuf to say what a joy it was to hear it.he is very excited about it, he has never lost that boyish enthusiasm that i always knew and loved.
i have just finished reading the wonderful book by george brown,which is a "must read" for any cat fan. I recommend it. look out for the beautiful song "midday" it is one of those simple songs like "bring on the clowns" or "mr bo jangles" that will become a standard, over time.
