Thanks for posting this! I liked it, he's good, but my first impression is it's such a personal song and so completely passé now that I have trouble listening to it, even when listening to the original version. Thanks for turning us on to someone who's huge in French-speaking countries. Here in the U.S. we just don't get enough of that.

Wow, thanx for the link, Glaucus. Francis Cabrel has to be my favorite French singer/songwriter. His earlier songs were similar to Cat's style, like the songs L'encre de tes yeux and La fille qui m'acompagne. It's no surprise that Francis would pay tribute to the Cat meister.
I also liked likecat75's link to Come On & Dance. I saw that video many years ago. I remember how bored the audience looked while Cat was singing. Geez, what was going on??? <g>

Glaucus, Thanks to you, my daughter and I have a new music obsession. It's not Cabrel, but actually, it's Gerald De Palmas. That guy rocks! Thanks for posting this song Laurieann

Thanks for posting this song Laurieann My pleasure! In my excitement of seeing Cabrel singing a Cat song, I forgot to mention De Palmas as well. He's more known in France than up here but the guy has a huge talent and great charisma and I can understand why you would notice him as well. Glad I could give them a little exposure. I have the chance of living in a corner of North America where we get many cultural influences (Quebec has been the main continental gateway and cultural pole for so many international artists) it's always a pleasure to share.
