I did my best to think of songs even many self-professing Cat fans might not have heard.

"Which song is most uncharacteristic when compared to "pop" Cat?"
"New York Times" ?
"Life" ?
Eh... ?
Nascimento not on your list?
Or Monad's Anthem?

I vote for "bring another bottle" this song is very nite club in las vegas feel. I never cared for it too much. Very uncharacteristic. Opinions??

Bring Another Bottle was one of his very early songs. I like it. It seemed sophisticated to be written by a teenager, but he sang it well.

Cat's style changed from time to time, so I don't think I could pick any songs that are really "uncharacteristic". Unless there's another meaning in mind?

"Unless there's another meaning in mind?"
the Poll title is: "Which song is most uncharacteristic when compared to "pop" Cat?"
so yeah, as I said:
Nascimento
Monad's Anthem

Actually, it was so long ago that I heard Nascimento (mu least favourite Cat song), that I could be even wrong in adding it in this poll... I know I thought at the time it's awful and couldn't play it for the 2nd time.
Anyone else had this experience with Nascimento? (ok, I know Viv likes all Cat songs, but the rest of you? you know, that funny "Izitso" feeling about it?)
Monad's Anthem is a masterpiece.

"A is for Allah" is surely quite uncharacteristic when compared to "pop" Cat

I always thought "Another Saturday Night" was uncharacteristic of him.
Never did like it.

I hate to say I don't like a Cat song but "Was Dog a Doughnut" is pretty bad and seemed like filler.
