Decades after Harold and Maude and its soundtrack began creeping toward cult status, the Artist Formerly Known as Cat Stevens still reigns as a folk-pop signifier for a certain breed of rite-of-passage film. Remember how "The Wind" wafted through Rushmore and Almost Famous? Year of the Dog sends its alienated heroine into the sunset with the current Yusuf Islam's first hit, "I Love My Dog", the epitome of weariness: The lyrics are tart with loss, but the voice glows as if it just found itself.

that's very cool.. i don't like dogs too much.. so i used to sing "i love my car, as much as i love you..." maybe i should watch the movie and that could help me overcome the phobia  |

So has anyone seen this movie... Is it worth it?? Or has it not come out ye-et... I only want to watch to here the song.... I bought the MOVIE.. WAR with Kevin Coastner only because of the song... Peace train...

Peace train plays during the closing credits... The movie is pretty good... I've watched it a couple of times... I haven't watched it any where near as many times that I've watched Harold and Maude, pay It Forward... But it has a good message...

it is sold in moscow. There is a smal shop of rare and house art movies - they sell Deep end. When i receive it - ill host it so that everyone of you guys could see it also:)  |
