Great videos catty. That's a beautiful Gibson. Yoriyos' video is really clever, it complements a fine song and those animated drawings are strangely Cat-like. Thanks for the link :-)

Just wondering, could it be the same guitar?

that was really nice, thanks for the link! I really respect Yoriyos for trying to be independant of his father, and not use the relationship as a marketing tool.. but no matter what Yoriyos does, his father's influence will always be there. This song also reminds me of "I want to live in a wigwam, and dance around a totem pole"

Cat's original antique Gibson was stolen and Cat mentioned philosophically in the music papers at the time that "At least it's still on the planet". Imho, Yoriyos sounds nothing like the former Cat, unlike with someone like Julian Lennon, where his dad's style was emulated to a degree. I think Yoriyos has a style of his own, even when singing a Yusuf song i.e. 'The End', there's another slant on the song. Menacing almost. It's a great debut album and very impressive video, whoever did it is very good with paper and love the Wizard of Oz touch.

Thanks for the video links, catty! I am very impressed with Yoriyos' video--so much creativity there! I particularly enjoyed the use of both black and white, and color, and the Kokopelli reference (the flute player). Wonderful.

Okay, first of all, my sound system is broken at the moment, so this was like watching silent movies-until I can get it fixed, but somehow, Yoriyos film reminds me more of the Teaser cartoon. Not sure why, but it does.
