Another artist who Cat has inspired is James Morrison. I just love his song "Wonderful World"! He really sings it so well, and the song itself reminds me of a Cat song somewhat with the time changes, etc. I listened to both - yes, yes, yes -- he has the passion and feel of Cat Stevens. The electric guitar is great in The First Cut Is the Deepest - no wonder Yusuf is picking one up nowadays. ~Sun~ |

I am so touched by Peter Gabriel - he's been such a true and loyal friend to Cat/Yusuf. He looks so proud of Yusuf in this video! And Yusuf is a live wire - so sensitized to the audience - the sparks just fly! ~Sun~ |

Me First & The Gimmie Gimmies... great name for a band and the cover is as subtle as a flying mallet!! Great stuff butterfly :-)

Ghee..... I like James Blunt's voice but I seem to be in the minority here. I did notice that he was reading the words and i would have loved to just hear him sing it. the duet was really not very melodic. Maybe someone else could really harmonize with him and it would be beautiful. Now who would that be?
