Driving in to work this morning here in NYC, I had the radio on the recently resurrected "oldies" radio station WCBS-FM and to my surprise they played Wild World. I wonder if anyone else has heard other CS songs on commercial radio anywhere else in the US. I'm hoping there will be more exposure that will eventually lead to a tour.

I've heard the "big" ones like Wild World and Peace Train. I've also heard that the only way to make money on songs nowadays is by touring. But I wonder if Cat/Yusuf would ever seriously consider a major tour. . . ~Sun~

oh, i feel he will tour. I feel An Other Cup will bring a grammy nomination. My prediction. There is enough of us that want him to spread his words of peace and love and faith to a very starving and needy world. Just as he did many years ago, it is time for him to sing to us again. I feel it will be a short and selective tour. I went to one of our local liberal stations and asked if they could play a cut from An Other Cup. (i gave them mine). They listened to it and taped and played Avoid The City.... Maybe There's a World, and... In the End. Quite surprised and they loved it. They will play the whole thing eventually, to get "feedback". Since there is no release to stations, it is done on a "feedback" basis. Overwhelming response to the good!

As far as touring, well, there are plenty of baby steps, and Yusuf has come a long way. I doubt it will be a full fledged tour but like you suggested, a short selective one, there is always hope for. Peace,Vivian

Peace,Vivian Oh, I agree completely. How wonderful would it be, though, to see him have a full-fledged tour? I think I'd try to go to as many concerts as I can.

I really do wish the soft rock stations would play a few of his songs, like Maybe There's a World or Green Fields Golden Sands. They do sometimes play some songs that are somewhat based on religion (Josh Groban and Mercy Me come to mind) and I have to ask "WHY NOT"?
