So, now when it seems that those 2500 copies of "H & M" vinyl package is almost sold out, maybe it would be no harm if someone who own it rip it partialy (f.ex. alternate version of Don't be Shy") in mp3 and upload it somewhere?

Are the alternate versions and demos officially available anywhere besides in the Harold & Maude vinyl package? ~Sun~

As far as I know those alternate versions and demos are only in the Harold & Maude vinyl package, so it would be nice if those lucky "majicats" who owned H & M vinyl to share them with others in mp3

However, as I do not yet have the equipment to rip from vinyl into the computer, it will have to be someone else. -Joanne

I don't have the equipment either, or I would. I do have the vinyl, but I STILL lack the turntable to play it, LOL

...I do have the vinyl, but I STILL lack the turntable to play it, LOL Peace,Vivian Viv, are you saying you still haven't actually heard the H&M vinyl? You poor thing! I've hung on to my turntable for many years and am glad of it. But I would like to splurge and get one of those new-fangled ones to rip stuff into the computer. Christine, if memory serves, you'd bought one but not yet utilised it. Any news on that front? Would you recommend it? Cheers! -Joanne

As I said, I don't even know if the one locked up in storage even works, but I would love to have one that I can burn onto CD. Unfortunately, my computer doesn't have a burner either. Peace,Vivian

(love that term "new-fangled", btw, Joanne... not a word I've thought about in a long time... )

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I haven't even played with the mp3 aspects of the record player yet. But, I'll check into it very soon, perhaps tomorrow. I love the record player it self though. :-) It's not the hi - fi of the 70's . But sounds very nice to my ears.
Whoah, your right Crobarbie. H & M is definately sold out on all of the sites I checked out.

OK, at the risk of sounding like an idiot, what is that? My copy arrived with photocopy of a lyric sheet in what would appear to be the hand of the then "Cat". -Joanne

Mine came with the same lyric sheet Joanne. From the sound of it 'one sheet' is perhaps just one of the songs original lyric paper.

OK, got this email from Aural Exploits: "This offer is exclusive to customers who purchased the now completely sold out limited edition Cat Stevens Harold and Maude soundtrack. We have available an extremely limited number of the promotional only picture disc version of the Harold and Maude soundtrack. This offer is only available via this email and is available on a first come first served basis." I bit, even though I never buy something sight unseen. (But that's OK; I'm kinda looking forward to the surprise of what it looks like when it arrives.) Did anyone else? -Joanne

Not yet. I'm considering it, though. I assume it's exactly the same except that the LP is a PICTURE disk??
