New tab contributer Gino has got me thinking now, there must be more songs out there in open E. I was playing "The Day They Make Me Csar" I have my second ovation tuned to open E and I was playing with it. It sounds right and easier to play also. The only chord I couldn't figure out was the C minor. How do you do a minor in open e tuning?

I was wromg again. The tuning is modified open E. such as E Bb E G# B E. So it's actually Open E add 11. that way all you do is strumm OPen e add 11 and hammer on the Bb to make it a B.and with the bar chords A. B just add the middle finger to the fifth string 1st fret to get the proper chord or they will all be add 11. as for the G#m and the C#m big ?? Even a triad would be fine. A chord only needs 3 notes to make a chord then adding a base note is were it gets trickey. Try this tuning out and let me know what you recommend.

Interesting approach; I always wondered how Cat played that in the original way. I always played it using Standard Tuning until now
