I just discovered if you slide the live slider to the left and just use your headphones, you wont be confused by hearing your own echo. Though you may not hear yourself very well. But this works alot better. lets do it again.

If you set the Live Slider to zero, then it works pretty well. We can have weekly Majicat.com jamming session this way.

We haven't worked out a specific time yet. I'm having major difficulties with that program now. After I used it twice they decided to have an update to 10a version. I've tried it repeatedly with no success. I even wrote to thier tech guy. I'm still waiting for a reply. You know that I'm probably get one of those emails that go out to everyone with problem solutions that really won't help at all. so lame. but that's what I'm expecting. Something like "did you check to see if you were connected to the internet" solutions. I'll probably have to do an entire system restore because I can't even uninstall the program to put in the fresh edition. It doesn't show up but when I try to download the new version it tries to lay it over the top of the old one that I can't get rid of. How annoying! I'll let you guys know when I'm back on ejamm.

What exact problems do you have with the program, as my friend and me were testing the program and each feature of it in the last days?

I'll just show you the e-mail I sent them
I did a system restore and I followed all the instructions exactly. I have windows Vista 1. I clicked on my desktop icon for ejam. 2. I clicked on done after verifying password and username etc. 3. the ejam window showed up 4. the update window showed up I clicked yes 5. it asked me where I wanted it saved, I saved it to the desktop 6 the icon showed up on my computer and the download progress meter in the upper right hand corner started to fill in 7. after it was finsihed it said download complete, please exit program and finish the install. I closed the program 8. I clicked on the desktop icon for the update 9. update started I clicked next and agreed to all the tings I needed to in order to advance 10. finally the finish install window popped up 11. I clicked it. 12. I waited about 5 minutes to make sure it had sunken into my computer 13 I clicked on my ejam icon to try it out. 14 I get this message 15. C:\Program Files\ejammingAUDiiO\ejammingAUDiiO.exe The application has failed to start because its side-by-sided configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail. I didn't uninstall anything or delete anything I did it just as I was asked to do. Obviosly I had Beta 10 before I did any of this and I never changed it. Is there a way I can just download a whole new program? This patch or update just doesn't work. I think I need to start fresh. I liked the program the 3 times I was able to use it and would like to have it back. What was the bug that was destroying everything? The last version worked fine. I hope you can help and that I gave you enough information. Kris (workahollis)
That's the e-mail. Since then I've tried to uninstall again but no success because every where I look I keep finding folders for ejamm which I've tried to delete but it won't allow me to. I've gone back to the web site and tried to download again and after all is set up and installed I get the same message
C:\Program Files\ejammingAUDiiO\ejammingAUDiiO.exe The application has failed to start because its side-by-sided configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.
I really don't understand. I wish I could have it the way it was it was great. Before I only got a pop up that came up when I turned on my computer now nothing works.

I haven't installed the 10a beta yet due to other reasons though (they want to integrate advertisements).
Have you tried uninstalling your corrupt eJamming from your system using the Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs before reinstalling it? This way you would get rid of all the settings, etc. that may have corrupted your eJamming version in the process of updating. Also, after the uninstalling process try to find the folder where you installed it and delete everything related to eJamming there.

Good to hear that you have ejamming back working, Kristian. It's kind of a shame that when the three of you get together on ejam, there isn't a way to listen in on the session. It would have been fun .... Have a good time if you are able to get together.

You can listen in. All you need to do is download the software and we will save an open seat. Or just message us if you see us playing and ask if you can join. Joining doesn't have to mean playing an instrument. As long as you have a pair of headphones you'll be ok. If you can plug in a mic and talk to us live while we're on. We will always let a majicat member sit in on our sessions. We just all need to coordinate a decent time for all of us. That's hard.
