I'm really thinking about tabbing it for single guitar. So to speak to port it from piano to the guitar as best as I can.

try this for the intro. It's just how that guy does it. Except I use a capo on 7. but you could bar it as well.

Sounds like a good idea Kristian. We all know a capo on the 7th sure sounds nice.

I always thought this song played beautifully on the guitar. I used to work from the Cat Stevens Compete songbook.
Not sure If I remember right but I think it had a different cover than the one I see available these days. There was no picture, just a dark brown cover with CAT STEVENS COMPLETE on it.
Some of the tabs in that were really good, and some were horrible. They weren't incorrect, but they were the hardest and worst possible way to play the song on guitar.
They never heard of a capo Workahollis1, lol.
This is why the work you players do is so valuable. You not only make them more playable, in most cases they sound ten times better. And you make em FUN to play again!
