I guess it doesn't really matter anymore , since the guy wrote -- "I need this info. for an assignment so any info as to when and where it was held would be GREATLY appreciated!!" ... and that was 18 months ago ;D the first pic looks 1972-ish to me.

Yellow and green hoops is 1972, sky blue shirt and the pic with Alun is 1974, "all red" is 1977 of course, light green trousers is 1971 ('Morning Has Broken' photo session), Buddha is 1974 of course, short-cut hair is 1977 onwards, the rest comes out of Swingin' London.

i was in frankfurt one day - great gig and went to a especially extra gig in stuttgart where he actually did a 80 % different songlist e. g. he asked the audience what they want to hear. somebody shouted out " i love my dog", the complete band answered "no" but cat stevens said yes. so for about 10 minutes they practiced on stage and than played the song, - not bad ey

That's what I call 'Cat Stevens'. He might have been quite bossy with his bandmates, but that was for the audience's sakes! Great memories to share, aye mate?

Nice story Walter, my best friend saw him also that april 1976, in Köln. There was a beer bottles fight in the audience. Cat opened and closed the show with Banapple Gas. Good times...
